Apong Guan is a famous roadside apong/apom stall along Jalan Burma, Georgetown, Penang. The stall is right in front of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Union (Union Primary School). The stall owner, Mr Uan Cheng Guan has been in the business for a long, long time – it is a famous, old stall in Penang.
Apong (or apom) is a type of small pancake made of a batter comprising of rice flour, eggs, and other ingredients. The apom made at Apong Guan comes with some corn and banana toppings. It tastes best when eaten hot (freshly made).
