The National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) has arranged for a number of insurance policies for its members/teachers. One of the popular NUTP insurance policies is underwritten by Great Eastern Insurance. Members of NUTP who are interested in the Great Eastern insurance can enquire and buy the policy at Tony Ng & Associates, a Great Eastern agency located in the heart of Georgetown (Address: 39, Lebuh Bishop, 10200 Georgetown, Penang. Tel: 04-2628998). As far as I know, Tony Ng & Associates is the only agency that manages the NUTP Great Eastern insurance in Penang. At the time of writing (5 November 2018), the NUTP Great Eastern insurance offered is called Livin’ Pay Plus (note that this may change from time to time).
