On a hot day in Pulau Tikus, the BlackBall Mini outlet at Moulmein Rise Shoppes provides a nice respite from the heat. BlackBall Mini serves many types of Taiwanese desserts, many of which are cold. The first time I visited a BlackBall outlet was at Queensbay Mall a long time ago, but that branch is now closed.
As is synonymous with Taiwanese food, the desserts served at BlackBall Mini are creatively designed and look pleasant to the eyes. There are mango crush, strawberry crush, mango smoothie, blueberry smoothie, uji matcha soya ice, grass jelly ice, grass jelly mocha and many, many more. There are also hot desserts available.
The BlackBall Mini outlet at Moulmein Rise Shoppes are quite small, but the seating area is clean and comfortable. There is a small counter area where the desserts are prepared. Customers are expected to pick up their orders from the counter (self service).
