I was driving around with my family recently, looking for a place to have a late lunch when we found Mama Burger, a small burger joint at The One Terrace Plus, Bayan Baru. We decided to give it a try. Upon looking at the menu, we found that Mama Burger actually serves vegetarian burger.
You may be wondering, how is it possible to have vegetarian burger? Well, the patty in the burger is actually imitation meat (vegetarian). The menu at Mama Burger is quite simple. Customers get to choose whether they want pumpkin bun, pandan bun, charcoal bun or normal bun. Even though Mama Burger serves vegetarian burger, there is also the option to add egg to the burger. The restaurant also prides itself in serving healthy food – their 6 persistence being no meat, no MSG, no preservative, no artificial colouring, no chemical additives and fresh food ingredients.
The vegetarian burgers turned out to be quite delicious. I was actually surprised by it, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The bubble milk with coconut brown sugar and passion fruit tea that we ordered complemented the food very well.
The Mama Burger shop in Bayan Baru is quite small, with limited seating area. It is clean and comfortable to dine here though.
