My family and I joined the Mid Autumn Festival celebration at Straits Residences on Saturday, 29 September 2018. Straits Residences is a new high-end service residence development beside Straits Quay Mall, Tanjung Tokong. It is developed by Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn. Bhd. The Mid Autumn Festival celebration was held from 12PM to 8PM.
There was a small buffet lunch served right outside the Straits Residences Sales Gallery. The food served include char koay teow, fried bihun, fried rice, chicken, pastries, ais kacang and moon cakes. After having lunch, visitors can relax inside the Sales Gallery, while getting a better understanding of the development. There were 2 show units of the service residence for viewing. There were also a Gu Zheng performance, as well as a Chinese tea ceremony demonstration.
The children were entertained by a clown giving out balloons of various shapes. There was also a lantern workshop, where the children painted their own lanterns. It was a fun afternoon.
