Even with the advent of email, instant messaging and social media, post offices (pejabat pos) continue to play an important role in our society. Online commerce is picking up in Malaysia, which will spur the amount of packages that need to be delivered. So, post office services like Poslaju will be in high demand. We are also continuing to use post offices to pay bills, road tax and sending snail mail.

In Penang, there are a number of post offices that open every day, even on weekends. This is a big convenience to consumers and online business owners. Here are the list of post offices in Penang that open 7 days a week:

1. Pejabat Pos Tesco Pulau Pinang (near E-Gate)

Sunday: 12 PM – 6 PM

3. Pejabat Pos AEON BIG Seberang Jaya (formerly Pejabat Pos Carrefour Seberang Jaya)

Opening hours:

Monday – Saturday: 10 AM – 8 PM

Sunday: 10 AM – 3 PM

Note that the operating hours may be changed by Pos Malaysia from time to time. So, if you need to use these post offices, especially during the weekends, go there earlier to avoid being disappointed.
