Today, there are more and more Western coffee shops/cafes in Penang. I came across Mideum Coffee recently, which is located in Island Park, right opposite the S.M.J.K. Chung Hwa Confucian (secondary school). Its address is 30, Tingkat Tembaga, 11600 Jelutong, Penang.
I was there in the morning around 10AM, and Mideum Coffee has a simple breakfast menu. The breakfast choices available are golden waffle, classic French toast, egg mayo sandwich, scrambled eggs, chicken wrap, and bacon bagel.
I ordered the scrambled eggs and hot Americano coffee breakfast set, priced at RM9.90. I think it was a very good deal. Both the eggs and coffee taste good.
The dining area is clean, with well-arranged tables & chairs. There are not many customers at Mideum Coffee in the morning, so it is a good place to have a quiet breakfast. Some people go there to have business discussions. Overall, I enjoyed the environment and food/coffee very much.
