I went to Queensbay Mall on Monday, 14 August 2017 as my wife would like to shop for some new clothes. It has been awhile since I last visited Queensbay Mall. We reached at around noon, and went straight to the Queensbay Mall food court (Queens Hall) for lunch. To our delight, we found that the “Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul” has opened a stall there. We had chicken rice, unagi rice (from a Japanese food stall), and chendul for lunch. I must say that the food at Queens Hall is pretty good, no wonder it is normally full in the weekends.
As my wife went about her shopping, I grabbed a Starbucks from the Borders Book Store and wondered down to the AEON Supermarket in the Lower Ground (LG). To my surprise, the Queensbay Mall AEON Supermarket has just went through a renovation. It now has a new, refreshing look. Here are some pictures:
It is great to see the Queensbay Mall AEON Supermarket getting an uplift. It feels really pleasant shopping in a newly renovated supermarket. Queensbay Mall will definitely continue to be one of the popular shopping malls in Penang.
