Weld Quay Bus Terminal is the main bus station in Georgetown, Penang. It is located along Pengkalan Weld (Address: 19-24, Pengkalan Weld, 10300 Georgetown, Penang). Most Rapid Penang buses will come here, as it is the main hub. From the Weld Quay Bus Terminal, passengers can walk over to Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda (the ferry jetty) to take the ferry to Mainland Penang. Buses that are headed to the Weld Quay Bus Terminal will have the “Jetty” signage. There is also a taxi stand near the bus station.
The Clan Jetties are also located nearby. Visitors can easily walk over there from the Weld Quay Bus Terminal.
