Garden Cafe is a restaurant in Shangri-La’s Golden Sands Resort, Batu Ferringhi, Penang. It is located right beside the hotel lobby, and is open from 6.30AM to 11PM daily. Recently, I had the lunch buffet at Garden Cafe with some friends.
It was a relatively small buffet spread, with about 4-5 hot dishes. There were also a salad bar, noodles station (serving hokkien mee that day), soup, fruits station, bread, and coffee/tea station. The food was nice, although I would have preferred more variety.
The Garden Cafe’s dining area was very comfortable. It was a wide area with windows looking out to the resort’s swimming pool. Dining here was pleasant and relaxing. I will definitely come back again in the future.
